This policy sets out what personal information Avelisse Fashion collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

1. Who we are

Avelisse Fashion sells women's clothing to customers in the United Kingdom. The store is operated from the Netherlands by OS Marketing, registered at Hooikamp 33, 4143 VP Leerdam, Netherlands. KvK 92991599. VAT NL004991082B65.

OS Marketing is the data controller for the information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

When you order from us or get in touch, we collect:

• Your name
• Billing address and delivery address
• Email address and phone number
• A record of what you've ordered
• The last four digits of the card used

We never receive or store your full card number. Card details go directly to our payment providers and are handled on their systems, not ours.

Browsing the site also generates technical information — IP address, browser and device type, the pages you look at — collected through cookies and similar tools. Section 6 covers this.

3. Why we use it

Your information is used to:

• Take and fulfil your order
• Process payment
• Arrange delivery and pass on tracking details
• Answer your questions and handle customer service enquiries
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds
• Keep records we're legally required to hold
• Understand how the site is used and improve it

Most of this is necessary to perform our contract with you when you place an order. Record-keeping is based on our legal obligations, and site analytics on our legitimate interest in running the store properly — or your consent, where the cookie banner asks for it.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data, and we don't hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

Information is shared only where it's needed to run the business:

• Payment providers, to complete your transaction
• Delivery carriers, to get your order to you
• Suppliers who fulfil and dispatch orders on our behalf
• Service providers who support our website and operations, bound by confidentiality terms

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or in response to a valid request from an authority.

5. Transfers outside the UK and EEA

We operate from the Netherlands and sell to the United Kingdom, so your information moves between the two. Some of the suppliers and service providers we work with are located outside the UK and EEA. Where that's the case, we rely on the safeguards recognised under data protection law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies

Cookies keep the site working — remembering your basket, keeping you logged in through checkout — and help us see how visitors move through the store. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working as expected if you do.

7. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as needed to complete the order, handle any return or dispute, and meet accounting and tax obligations. Enquiries that don't lead to an order are kept for a shorter period. When information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, it is deleted.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent where our use of your data relies on it

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your request, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

9. Security

Checkout runs over an encrypted connection, and payments are handled by certified providers. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to the information we hold. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection, but we take the responsibility seriously.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
